Braided Rivers - Sediment Transport & Sedimentary Structures (sed strat)

Описание к видео Braided Rivers - Sediment Transport & Sedimentary Structures (sed strat)

Sediment transport and the sedimentary structures formed depend on variations in flow speed, water depth, and channel geometry. In general, the coarsest grains are deposited in the deepest parts of the channels, and the finest grains in shallower parts and downstream of bars. However, floods play the biggest role in shaping braided rivers.
