How to Make Collographs: Printmaking at Home (Grades 1 & up)

In this video you will learn that you can find textures at home to create collograph prints through crayon rubbing. You will also learn that you can select and arrange cardboard shapes to create your own collograph plate for printing. Additional ideas for extending the project are also suggested.

Materials:
papers (printer paper, paper bags, newspaper, scrap and repurposed drawings)
cardboard (from cereal, pasta and cracker boxes are best!)
