50 years ago this year (2018), Herbie Hancock and his band recorded some of the most iconic jazz of the 1960’s on his album “Speak Like a Child” - and as fate would have it, this music was among the first jazz I heard and performed as a high school student!

After four albums of original material for my band “Hear & Now” I wanted to take some time to explore the music of composers who were so influential to my musical identity! This album really captures my attention each and every time I listen to it - it’s one of my all time favorites!

I took the original arrangements and tried to transform them to fit the vibe of my band, Hear & Now! A great challenge and so much fun. Thanks for watching!
