Maria Doulton caught up with Kuwaiti jewellery house Octium at the Couture Show in Las Vegas, where founders Alanood Al Sabah and Fahad Al Hajiri tell her all about the inspiration behind their new fine jewellery collection Twist.

The Twist collection is Octium’s biggest collection to date. It originated from their signature octagonal shape, with faceted angles and clean simple lines that twist around the finger or the wrist. The Twist collection rings and bracelets are set with coloured gemstones including blue and white agate, black diamonds, and turquoise.

Husband and wife team Alanood and Fahad tell us how the design of Octium’s latest fine jewellery collection came about, and how they were determined to create a collection that is designed by a woman, for women, giving them the freedom to pick and choose what jewellery they wear.
