Her Majesty, accompanied by the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge, was visiting the Eden Project's 'The Big Lunch' initiative when she was asked to cut a cake.

An aide offered "there is a knife if you want it" to which the Queen replied: "I know there is, but this is something a bit more unusual."

Her Majesty also welcomed G7 world leaders to the site on Friday for the summit's reception dinner.
