Sometimes trips to museums can be boring, especially if there's nothing exciting on exhibition. But on this beautiful day during the summer, I had the pleasure of visiting the Brooklyn Museum in New York City with my funny cousin. The weather was great and so was his company.

Point in case, his "observations" to the details in Kehinde Wiley's painting, "Napolean Leading the Army Over the Alps" had us both in stitches and I hope it will have you too! Is comments weren't fraught with intellectual jargon or pretentious viewpoints. Rather, his comments were refreshing real and down to earth - just like a New Yorker!

I highly recommend that even if you're not really into art, that you visit a museum or gallery with a friend or family (who's fun) and just make light of what you see as a child would- it can be a form of comic relief and perhaps, make you a new friend to the arts!
