Описание к видео This New Train's Troublesome History | NS ICNG

The Netherlands is getting ready to welcome a new fleet of Intercity trains. Branded "ICNG," short for "Intercity New Generation," these trains will have a top speed of 200 km/h. They will be running on domestic services as well as international services to Belgium. They will run over the High Speed Line which runs from Amsterdam to the Belgian border.
But that high speed line is 14 years old. So why are these trains only entering service now?
Join us as we dive into the messy history of high speed rail in the Netherlands. Will the ICNG be the end of all the drama?
