Here's a video of the magic tray and cake I made for "Matilda." It's pretty simple. I made the cake out of the bottom of a bucket, a few small pieces of plastic and plexiglass, and the amazing Sculpt-Or-Coat. The tray was from Goodwill, and I extended the bottom using shelf wood from Lowe's. The rounded edges on the tray are to cover the construction and hide the hinged door. It's just round gray insulation that I I covered with Sculpt-Or-Coat and painted so that the whole thing is more uniform looking.
