Lemon Sherbet Candles which smell amazing. I used 10% fragrance when making these.
I used Soy Wax, this planet-friendly substance doesn't emit any nasties into our atmosphere. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax. This means that soy wax burns cooler and will last longer than paraffin candles. An extended candle life means that you can enjoy delicious scents for much longer. The soothing effect that candles have is based on how the brain processes smells. The smell of scented candles stimulates our limbic system, the part of the brain that is home to our memory and emotions. Hormones like serotonin and dopamine can be produced to help regulate mood.
These smell amazing and the sparkle is gentle and subtle and looks so pretty.

My recipe for 4 small glass candles

260g Soy Wax
26g Lemon Sherbet Fragrance
Yellow candle dye
bio-degradable glitter for sherbet effect to go with the lemon sherbet fragrance.
4 wicks/stickers/wick holders
heat gun to warm glasses before pouring wax

Heating up their jars before pouring. This could be done with a heat gun or a few minutes on a tray in the oven at about 70 degrees Celsius. Warming up the jars reduces the temperature difference between the wax and the jars so there is less of a shock when the candle is setting.
