Those bright, goofy, high school stories pulled me in before I could even read. I sounded out every word, re-read every panel, and eventually learned to love reading through Archie, Jughead, Betty, and Veronica. They weren’t from my world — I grew up in Queens in the ‘90s — but somehow, I still related.
