Another quiet evening in town as lighthouse duty continues while Tortimer is away on vacation. Since the lighthouse has to be turned on seven nights in a row, we’re once again playing in the evening and settling into that slower nighttime rhythm.

Villager errands were on the list, including one particularly frustrating task involving a ball and a very stubborn hill. Rolling anything uphill in Animal Crossing is an exercise in patience, so instead of fighting gravity, we waited it out until Freckles finally came down where the task could actually be finished without losing our minds.

After wrapping up the usual favors, we checked in with Cooper at the police station and got some exciting news — Wendell the wandering artist will be visiting tomorrow. That means sea bass fishing is on the agenda next episode, and I’m genuinely looking forward to it.

Things took a turn, though, when I discovered the money rock right beside Snake’s house. Mid-hit, Snake wandered directly into the way and completely blocked the rest of the hits, costing me the chance at the full 10,000 bells. Let’s just say tensions were high, patience was low, and Snake officially earned a spot on my least-favorite villager list.

A cozy but mildly infuriating evening, full of quiet moments, small victories, and classic Animal Crossing chaos.
