This video is a real-world compilation showing a fast-deploy, vertically-oriented emergency antenna with a tiny horizontal footprint and no long ground or elevated radial wires to trip over.

Designed for rapid setup, limited space, and off-grid operation, this antenna comfortably covers 10–40 metres without a tuner, making it ideal for emergency communications, field use, and portable setups.

Out of respect for people impacted by bushfires and disaster recovery efforts, some power use was intentionally not filmed on active fire grounds. What is shown here is how off-grid power and communications fit into preparedness, coordination, and recovery away from the fire line.

All power in this video is supplied by the VTOMAN 2200, keeping radios, monitoring, and comms running without relying on mains power.
