⛰️ Why Kasol stole the show

✨ Spiritual Pitstop: Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib
About 4–5 km from Kasol, we found ourselves at the sacred Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib on the banks of the Parvati River. This holy site—linked to Guru Nanak—features natural hot springs said to be miraculous: legend tells of chapatis cooked in the spring, floating to the surface when made with faith.
The communal langar here, served 24/7, is all cooked with this geothermal spring water—a truly unique experience.

🛕 Lord Shiva Temple (Manikaran Shiva Mandir)
Beside the gurudwara, we visited the ancient Shiva Temple at 1,760 m. This temple is tied to the tale of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati strolling through the valley—where Parvati lost her “mani” (jewel), and the serpent Sheshnag caused hot springs to emerge from Shiva’s anger.
