Third video of 'The Tunnel Takes' series. This is an original song called 'Love In The Lead'. After doing covers my first two videos I figured I would do one of my own. I wrote this song a few months ago, and it has become one of my favourites to play. It started with a chord progression, and I was just singing random words to figure out a melody and that led to the lyric love in the lead. I thought it was a cool line so I based the whole song off of it. I hope you guys dig it!

We filmed this one in a new location and this tunnel had a very different sound than the previous one. This video was actually the first take I got of the song, which wasn't the case in the first two videos. When shooting a one take live video in a public tunnel there's always a chance a person will walk by, or a train or big truck will roll through, or basically any distraction or noise you can think of could happen. About three quarters of the way through this song I had a brief thought wishing none of these things would come up, and luckily it didn't. You can hear a couple cars in a street up the road, but none of them drove right through the tunnel.

'The Tunnel Takes':
Had an idea for a while...finally it has become a reality. I am calling it 'The Tunnel Takes'. Like every musician of all time, I've always had a fascination with natural acoustics. With this in mind, I decided on a video series of a collection of my favorite covers and original songs all filmed in a secluded tunnel. The videos are shot and recorded in one take in order to capture the true feeling of the songs and the performance. Hope you like it.
