Las Palmas de Gran Canaria /Playa de El Confital

This is a nice walk from the Playa de Las Canteras. There is a long path which leads round the island and is a great walk with some brilliant views.
There are no amenities or shops here as it is an international conservation area and is over looked by the caves of the islands original aboriginal habitants. You can get to the cave area from above, although not all the way into the actual caves. By the way the council did a good job making this beach accessible and keeping it natural.
Although it is a peaceful spot, it is not good for swimming and is possibly quite dangerous because of the rocks and the strong currents and there are no lifeguards or any facilities whatsoever here.
