This video from oorail.com walks you through the creation of a small diorama to create a scenic break between two separate tracks on the oorail layout. The scene extends the existing Brewery that was created using Metcalfe kits by adding a boiler house, cobblestone access road / yard and a coal storage area. The scene uses the scalescenes.com boilerhouse printable kit. It also uses several texture sheets and a old industrial wall kit from modelrailwayscenery.com. The diorama is on a separate board and was built away from the layout, then glued in place once completed. The boiler house and scene were weathered using AIM weathering powders and woodland scenics bushes were used to complete the scene...
