Drummer and inspirational speaker Clint Pulver rocked with the high school students as he shared a powerful message about being the best for the world, not simply the best in the world. To do this, Clint shared four key points:

1. Do things that spark the possibilities. Lift others and help them lean into life, help them lean on you. See what’s right and the possibilities instead of focusing on the problems.
2. Keep it simple. Do the essentials. Scripture study. YM and YW. Prayer. Temple. Simplicity helps us feel and hear the Spirit. The power of a to-don’t list. What are a few things you can stop and limit in order to connect with Christ? Are we justifying making peace with something that we have no business making peace with—like metaphorical tigers living in our homes. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
3. Communicate to collaborate. Help each other out. Never need permission to help somebody. How do people experience you, and how do they experience themselves when they’re with you? Reach out. Or ask for help.
4. Listen wisely. Think celestial. Metaphorically speaking, do you want to be a great wrestler? Then you have to hang out by the mat. Be where Christ is. Do what Christ does. Who are you hanging out with? What are immersing yourself with?
