Ofe Nsala soup is a super delicious and unique soup that is originates from the Eastern part of Nigerian .Ofe Nsala also known as white soup , is a delicacy usually made by the Igbos and some part of Delta state. Ofe nsala is known to be made particularly for women who have just put to birth, and also during some special occasions. White soup spices have a variety of advantages and it can also help with nutrient absorption. It has been proven that white soup improves circulation and lowers the risks of heart disease. This homemade Ofe nsala soup is simple to prepare and does not require much time . The Ingredients I used in making this HOME-MADE OFE NSALA ( WHITE SOUP) are as follows:1 big dried fish, Small pieces white yam, 5 Utazi leaves , Seasoning cubes , Small piece of Ogiri or Okpei , Grounded crayfish , Uda , Uziza leaf, Ehuru , Uziza seed , Blended pepper , Yanghanyanghan , Salt ( to taste ). METHOD: Properly wash the chicken , smoked and dried fish and set aside. Season and cook the chicken with the dried fish , adding onions , seasoning cube and salt to taste. Cook until done. While you allow the chicken cook , peel the yam cubes and boil until soft , then pound to a smooth paste , using a mortar and pestle. In the absence of a mortar and pestle , you can place the cooked yam in a food processor / blender , add a little hot water and blend until smooth. Now add the yam paste bit by bit and leave the soup to cook until the paste is completely dissolved, and the chicken is well cooked. Now , add the pepper , crayfish , and smoked fish. Finally, add the Uziza and Utazi leaves , taste for salt , and allow to simmer for 30 seconds and YOUR HOME-MADE OFE NSALA ( WHITE SOUP ) is ready!!!.Try this and thank me later ,Guys.
