It's been three years since we covered Terra's collapse in our exclusive interview with founder Do Kwon. And now, this week he pleaded guilty to fraud charges.

Unlike Sam Bankman-Fried, and other crypto founders, Do Kwon is waiving his right to a trial and pleading guilty as part of an agreement that could see him sent back to his native Korea after as little as six years. He also agreed to forfeit $19 million dollars and will face restitution.

In the courtroom, Do apologized for his actions and read from a prepared statement to plead guilty to the fraud and conspiracy charges. But as more crypto players jockey for pardons, could Do Kwon be next in line?

Some still left in the Terra community flagged a new SEC filing from the new Trump-aligned World Liberty Financial treasury company ALT5 Sigma and noticed UST, the original Terra stablecoin is on their list of crypto assets. Coincidence? Maybe.
