On this episode I continue with the ongoing restoration of this 1979 Kenworth W900A truck to turn it into a tribute movie truck to the one used in the 1977 classic movie Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason. Picking up where I left off last episode, I continue the final sanding and repair of minor issues in preparation for paint. When I finally had enough, I finished out the Hillbilly Paint Booth and setup the exhaust fans and filters. Then, after what seemed like countless hours and days, I finally get to the fun part to lay down some etching/fill primer. In the end it turned out pretty decent … not bad for a guy that has no idea what he’s doing…
