How To Start Budgeting With The Cashless Envelope System is a great place to start if you’re trying to reign in your spending and shift from living paycheck to paycheck with no savings using credit cards to a lifestyle that is sustainable with savings.

When we can reduce the dependency on credit and credit cards it enables more freedom of choice when, where and how you spend your time and money.

The first step to getting within my means was to set up and utilise the envelope system. This was a successful method for me more than 20 years ago. Unfortunately I didn’t keep it up and bad spending habits crept in.

Revisiting the envelope system for budgeting method 5 years ago, I saw how I could use technology as a support system to have the cashless envelope system.
