Exploring Eastern Turkey // Overlanding Turkey

We arrived back in Turkey at the worst time of the year for the heat, but there were some things we absolutely had to see before we left this part of the world including the city of Ani, the Ishak Pasha Palace, Lake Van and the Nemrut Crater.

We also had a harsh reminder of the trash problem here, which has changed a few things for us.

We are Kerry & Craig; Husband and Wife team from the UK with big plans for a tiny house on wheels and so, meet Penelope, our ex-army Leyland DAF T244 which we are converting into an expedition vehicle to travel the world - van life supersized!
