Communication is vital on a large project. There are tools within Adobe Photoshop that allow you to preserve notes inside your images for either team communication or your own information. 
Photoshop allows you to leave notes right on your work in the Notes panel.Open the Notes panel by clicking Window -- Notes in the top menu bar and making sure it's checked.To leave a note, you need to use the Note tool. You can find this by clicking and holding the Eyedropper tool. You'll see a drop down menu with four selections, one of which is the Note tool.With the Note tool selected, simply click once anywhere on your image. This will leave a note.Go back to the Notes panel and leave any note or message you want. This can be very helpful if you leave an image and know you're going to be coming back to that same image several weeks or several months later after you've forgotten how you have designed the image, or if you're working in a professional environment with a team and you're passing a design around from person to person. You can leave notes to each other with information pertaining to the image.If you have several notes on an image, you can navigate through them one of two ways:
1. You can click on the note icon itself in the image, which will bring up the note in the Notes panel.
2. You can cycle through them individually simply by clicking the arrows that appear in the bottom left side of the Notes panel. 

You can delete notes simply by clicking the trash can that appears at the bottom right side of the panel. When the confirmation dialogue appears, click Yes.
