Donkey Kong 64 Playthrough Part 21

In this part, we collect the remaining things as Tiny and Chunky in Fungi Forest, along with battling Dogadon a second time. We will go back for Lanky's items in the next few parts.

These are the items obtained in this part:

Banana Medal #23: Collect 75 Purple Bananas as Tiny Kong in Fungi Forest.

Golden Banana #125: Trade Snide the Blueprint we got earlier as Tiny Kong for a Golden Banana.

Golden Banana #126: Inside the barn, you will find a Music Pad with a triangle on it. Use Chunky's Triangle Trample on it for the conveyor belt to start working correctly. Next, go back to the belt, and place the kegs onto it. They will get destroyed by the giant grinder at the end of the belt. Do this three times for a Golden Banana to appear, which you can simply collect afterwards.

Blueprint #26: At nighttime, as Chunky, enter the night-only passage in the giant mushroom to find a green-haired Kasplat. Kill it for a Blueprint.

Banana Medal #24: Collect 75 Green Bananas as Chunky Kong in Fungi Forest.

Golden Banana #127: At the top of the giant mushroom is a Chunky Switch. Super Simian Slam it, then enter the new passage that opens. In here, you must Slam the Switch, then shoot the panels on the wall so they all form a picture of Chunky's face before time runs out. After completing the picture, a Golden Banana will appear.

Golden Banana #128: Trade Snide the Blueprint we got earlier as Chunky for a Golden Banana.

Boss Key #5: After feeding enough bananas to Scoff, the giant door will open, leading to another boss fight. As Chunky, you must battle Dogadon a second time. It's kind of like Diddy's fight against him. You need to avoid the fireballs Dogadon spits at you, then throw a TNT Barrel at him when he lands. After doing this enough times, you have to damage him a second way. After hitting him with a TNT Barrel, you must quickly jump into the Chunky Barrel, then punch him as many times as you can in your Hunky Chunky form. Dogadon's main attack is simply trying to hit you with fireballs. After enough hits from TNT Barrels and Hunky Chunky's punches, Dogadon will be defeated, and you'll receive the Key. Using this, you will unlock the next two areas, Crystal Caves and Creepy Castle.
