It’s that’s time of the year and you might be planning for your second semester, and have no idea of what you plan to teach. This can be frustrating and cause a mental block. At the beginning of the second semester, I take time and plan for the new year. Last year as I was planning….I got stuck! I had a mental block and couldn’t come up with some engaging activities for my ELLs. I thought and thought and finally I stepped away for a nice walk. I needed some time and space to come up with ideas to plan lessons for my ELLs.
