This week, we sit down with Jed McCammon, the creative force behind Body of the Year Bakery and co-owner of Pane Ora, Dunedin's go-to gluten-free wholesale bakery. 🥖 For Jed, baking wasn't always the plan—he once pictured himself as an artist or teacher, starting his journey at art school and later working as a teacher's aide doing sign language interpretation for students. 🎨 👨‍🏫

After travelling through Europe, Jed returned and found his passion for baking in his flat with a friend who was opening a bagel caravan. That passion evolved, and now we all get to enjoy the delicious baked goods from both of his businesses! 🥯🚐

Jed shares the inspo behind the Pane Ora brand name—as his two business partners are Italian, 'Pane' means bread in Italian, and 'Ora' of course, means health in Maori, relating to the ethos of the brand, which is to provide healthy, Gluten-free products that are good for both your taste buds and your body. 😋💪
