Breaking Opponents Posture In The Omoplata and Control Mechanics //

The omoplata, in my opinion, is one of the most powerful control positions in the sport of Jiu-jitsu. It isolates the shoulder in a way that is very difficult to escape if you know the proper control mechanics. In this video I address one of the most common problems associated with the omoplata which is an opponent that has great posture. Breaking your opponents posture in the omoplata is a very important skill that is going to make your finishing and sweeping percentage much higher.
