Gimnasta rítmica individual mexicana que fue campeona de los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe en Mayagüez 2010 y Barranquilla 2018.

La trayectoria deportiva de Rut Castillo se identifica con su participación en los siguientes eventos nacionales e internacionales: Ha sido la primera en obtener un lugar olímpico en la historia del país en gimnasia rítmica luego de su participación en el campeonato panamericano de la disciplina para Tokio 2020 a se llevará a cabo en julio de 2021, retrasado por la pandemia de coronavirus.

Obtuvo el primer lugar en el all-around del certamen panamericano de gimnasia rítmica realizado en Brasil 2021 con un puntaje de 91.500, lo que le otorga el histórico primer pase a los Juegos Olímpicos. Mexican individual rhythmic gymnast who was champion of the Central American and Caribbean Games in Mayagüez 2010 and Barranquilla 2018.

Rut Castillo's sports career is identified by her participation in the following national and international events:

She has been the first to obtain an Olympic place in the country's history in rhythmic gymnastics after her participation in the Pan-American championship of the discipline for Tokyo 2020 to be held in July 2021, delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.

She placed first in the all-around of the Pan American rhythmic gymnastics contest held in Brazil 2021 with a score of 91,500, thus giving her the historic first pass to the Olympics.
