German watchmaker Moritz Grossmann celebrates its thirteenth anniversary with the Backpage Blue, a 13-piece limited edition in platinum. Based on the 2018 Backpage, the Backpage Blue incorporates a blue nano-coat on its bridges and plates to present a dramatically different aesthetic than the original model. The bare bridges and plates are handsomely finished, and the hands have been black polished to blend into the darkness of the dial. The manual-wind caliber 107 has a 42-hour power reserve, a proprietary 14.2mm balance wheel, an overcoil hairspring, and a unique setting system that ensures the hand will not move when the crown is replaced flush to the case. This 41mm German watch is made in Glashutte and is elaborately hand-finished.
