Innovative CCD technology
The Contex HD Apeiron/42 is synonymous with superior image quality. Its six Toshiba-based CCD sensors paired with Fujifilm lenses deliver a stunning 1200 dpi optical resolution. Employing a quad linear CCD design—incorporating red, green, blue, and grey—sets a new benchmark in colour reproduction.
Unlike the tri-linear designs of competitors, Contex's approach ensures the truest greyscale/monochrome tones. Achieving the highest FADGI star rating of 4, it surpasses expectations, along with a colour rendering index (CRI) score exceeding 98, guaranteeing faithful reproduction of original colours.
