Alone Season 7 Behind the Scenes Exclusive - Lake Trout Fishing Northwest Territories. In this one, I (Jim Baird) share an ALONE exclusive while stationed at a remote fishing lodge on Great Slave Lake. Bush Plane access only, I was totally off-grid while survivalists remained alone in the backcountry, hacking out an existence using wilderness techniques in the harsh northern climate. My job was to hang out with people once they tapped out as I was working on the production side this time around. Because I spent 75-days surviving in the wilderness to win season 4, the production team thought it would be good to have someone that could relate to the contestants after they tap out. Naturally, because ALONE on History doesn't have camera crews capturing the survivalists' journies, there was a lot of downtime and I did a good amount of Lake Trout Fishing while there. In all, it was an awesome experience and further solidified my love of the north.
