A major fire broke out at an NDMC godown near the Safdarjung Flyover in Delhi, prompting the deployment of 14 fire tenders to control the blaze. Delhi Fire Services stated that around 6:00 pm, the SHO of Sarojini Nagar received information from a responsible citizen about the fire at the godown near Prachin Shiv Mandir. Police personnel promptly evacuated everyone from the affected area, preventing any casualties. Officials said that six fire tenders were initially at the site, with more teams rushing in to manage the situation. Thanks to the timely alert from the public, a larger disaster was averted. As of now, no loss of life has been reported, and firefighting efforts are ongoing to bring the situation fully under control.
