ARTISTS UNITE -CALL FOR ACTION IN SUPPORT OF FLOOD RELIEF

A Collective Art Exhibition to Raise Fund for the Recent Flood Victims, Summer 2014.

The artists of Nepal are calling for your generous support as a creative gesture to cope with the recent natural disaster caused by continuous floods around different regions in the country. Being artists and conscious citizens of society it is our moral responsibility to help people at a time of national humanitarian crisis. In order to raise funds a collective art exhibition is being organized at the Siddhartha Art Gallery from 3rd Sep - 10th Sep 2014.The exhibition includes paintings ,prints, photographs, sculptures and souvenir art works from more than 90 artists /art organizations. 100 % proceeds from the sales of art works will go towards the flood relief fund. The Siddhartha Art Gallery is providing its space for the duration and co-coordinating the exhibition.

The artists are also planning to sell food items at the exhibition venue on 3rd Sep at Siddhartha Art Gallery ,Babarmahal and on the 5th Sep at Taragaon Museum ,Bouddha.
