Many operations in Linux require elevation. Using sudo, we can properly segment permission access to further protect our systems. Additionally, sudo provides an extra layer of control against inadvertent mistakes in configuration. Finally, using sudo allows you to disable direct root access but still allow for running privileged operations which is crucial for a properly secured system.
