The Barbasol Championship returns to the PGA TOUR schedule for 2021 as Jim Herman looks to defend his title from 2019. The American will be aiming to make it three titles in three years after describing his last victory here as a career rejuvenator. John Daly will play his third PGA TOUR event of the season and is one of three major champions, along with Jason Dufner and Charl Schwartzel, teeing it up in Kentucky. Some of the Korn Ferry Tour’s best of the 2020-21 season will play this week, including Stephan Jaeger, who is at the top of the points list and recently promoted Mito Pereira, who earned his PGA TOUR card after notching his third win of the KFT season. There are only three weeks left in the PGA TOUR’s regular season so now is the time to pick up valuable FedExCup points.
