Multiple Pakistani drones were spotted along the Line of Control in North Kashmir’s Nowshera and Gania sectors, prompting the Indian Army to open fire using light and medium machine guns. The intruding UAVs returned after hovering for a few minutes, while search operations and high alert were declared across districts including Uri, Kupwara, and Bandipora. This comes after previous incidents where drones were allegedly used to drop weapons across the border. Authorities continue to monitor the area closely to prevent further violations of Indian airspace.
