Daniel asked forgiveness for the sins of God's people. God responded, not by telling Daniel that He was going to make everything okay, but by telling Daniel what God's plans were going forward - plans that God had put in place and that were not going to change.

Today, American Christians need to realize that God is not going to make everything okay, but that He has other plans long in the making.

If we seek Him face like Daniel did (Daniel 9), He will give us enough details for us to be well prepared for what's ahead, and by that, He will help us to prepared others too.
