Hi . today I have a small waves demo from the WFM oscillator from La 67
This small oscillator has a huge sound and is inspired and based on the 1970s Kobol synthesizers.
For explanation The RSF Kobol is a French monophonic synthesizer released in 1978. Described by purists as the French Minimoog.😀
WFM output provides a continuously variable wave shape from triangle to saw to modulated pulse, with many interesting points in between. Voltage control over wave shape and output amplitude allow for wide timbral variations and here I did a small flight over WFM using the Coiler Filter from North Coast Synthesis.
you can hear the filter fully open and then slightly LPF filtering but I'm staring I wanted to show the very basics of sound - so more soon.
