Mount Whitney Humbles

We summited Mt Whitney as a day hike in late September, starting at 2:45 AM and returning at almost 21 hours later. This was incredibly tough for us coming from sea level -- probably the toughest physical test I have ever endured. Nonetheless, it was truly fun. No matter the fatigue and self-doubt, the crew stuck together, still smiling and laughing with whatever energy we had. I was inspired not by just the will to summit nor Whitney's beauty, but also by the spirit of our team, truly.

Next time, more training, more sugar, more acclimating.
