In this one-off episode, Alti & Dirk put the "Ironvan" to some serious 4x4ing through a pass in the North West called Maanhaarrand Pass (D568) Also known as 'Breedt's Nek', this gravel pass can be found just off the R763, near the Magaliesberg Nature Reserve. It provides a link across the Magaliesberg from the settlement of Maanhaarrand to Buffelspoort and the town of Mooinooi to the north-east.

And then they end up at their favourite destination, Crystal clear water, floating water lilies, and a freshwater bed of broad-leaved plants are what creates the fairy tale called Marico Oog. This place of magical beauty is home to various fish species, crab and freshwater eels.

Apart from great daytime dives, the highlight of Marico oog is the intimate night time dives of a 12-meter maximum depth, with a blanket of stars and the moon shining down over you through the water...

An amazing place to camp, even though you are not a diver, snorkelling and swimming and making memories will also be on your to-do list.
