In this long-form video, I flip a sample to create a boom bap beat on my MPC One. I'm shown moreso adding on to the beat I started creating earlier, due to my error in not recording the initial process (pardon me, I'm still learning). If you've been tuned in, you'd know that I post these videos to show my process; if what I share is helpful to anyone on their journey to create music, then it's worth it. I grabbed a sample from Tracklib for this one, then proceed to add elements to flesh out the idea. From there, you'll see me record a "song mode" version of the beat, live. I usually do this as a first draft of a beat, utilizing certain effects and track mutes to liven up the beat. A work in progress, as usual. Again, I'm just showing my process of creating music.
