Biryani Recipe Pinoy | Easy Mutton Biryani

INGREDIENTS:
For marination:
1 kg mutton
5 cups basmati rice
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
5 tbsp biryani masala powder (if mix has salt)
(Note: 4tbsp biryani masala powder plus 1tbsp salt if mix has no salt)
1 cup whisked yougurt
5 chillies
1 cup coriander leaves
1 cup mint leaves

For Cooking the Mutton:
5-6 tbsp oil
5 green cardamom
5 cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
5 sliced onion (about 400 gms)

For Cooking the Rice:
3/4 tsp black cumin seeds
4 green cardamom
4 loves
2 cinnamon sticks
2 tbsp salt
around 2.5 liters water to cook the rice
around 10 - 15 leaves Mint leaves

NOTE:
Cook the meat for 15-20 mins using pressure cooker
or 30-45 using regular pot until the meat is tender.
