Hi everyone, I'm finally coming back with the video on how I removed my individual crochet box braids. If you recall from the previous video, I cornrowed the back and left the perimeter out for individual braids because you know me, I'll try anything hair related five times.
I will be showing you you how to install the per-braided hair onto your loose hair and safely remove it. I will also show you the difference between using a large section of your natural hair vs. a smaller section.

HAIR USED: Freetress Shake-n-go Synthetic Large Box Braids (I think it's Kanekalon too, idk.)

THE INSTALL PROCESS:
0:17 Make the root of the braid tighter by looping the entire braid through the opening.
0:38 Slide the latch hook through the loop, then loop your natural hair through.
0:49 Slide your braid to the base of your scalp and loop your hair through that hole again.
1:02 Go in & pull your hair through.
1:14 Separate your hair into two sections and tension them to make sure your braid is down. Be gentle.
1:21 Grab one section and weave it through the right side of the braid.
1:38 Do the left side until there's no more hair.

A large section is great for demos, but looks HORRENDOUS in real life, so let's go small.

2:01 Prep your braid.
2:09 Loop your natural hair through.
2:18 Loop it again.
2:26 Separate your hair in two.
2:32 Weave the right section into the right side of the braid.
2:47 Let's do the left side.

REMOVAL PROCESS:
3:13 Cut the braid.
3:20 Gently unravel your hair.
3:37 STOP at the base.
3:40 Move your braid from side to side and slide it down to loosen your hair.
3:47 Find where you looped your hair and unloop it.
4:01 Now, slide your extensions out.

That's all there is, ladies and gents. I think it's a great protective/ low manipulation style for untalented people like myself. Thanks for watching and happy styling. xo
