Standard Thai inlay patterns have been passed down through generations for hundreds of years. This, however, does not stop some artists from innovating and making their marks on the craft.

Bua Bang Len (The Lotus of Bang Len) is a floral pattern created by Master Jukkit Suksawat. The design reflect the lotus flowers of Bang Len district (the Master's home), bringing a fresh local touch to the high and ancient art of mother of pearl inlay.
