Hi Guys. Its been a while since my last video as my car has been at the smash repairer. It was a pretty big job but you wouldn't even know it now. I have also had some issues with my audio & video equipment. I'm still an amateur in this area plus my camera gear is a bit old. I really didn't know how this whole YouTube thing would go so have been making do with what I have.

I wanted to put this video together as there are a lot of interesting design features related to efficiency. I am only covering the most interesting ones and I know there is a more to aerodynamics than I have covered here. I want to keep my videos understandable by anyone no matter what your experience. Unfortunately I don't have a wind tunnel at my disposal either haha...I really hope you find these features as interesting as I did when I first learnt about them. Some of these features aren't unique to the Tesla Model 3 but Tesla have combined a lot of them into one car to make the M3 one of the most efficient EVs on the market. Efficiency for an EV is opposite to an ICE vehicle. EVs are most efficient around the city but ICE vehicles are most efficient at highway speeds. This means EV aerodynamics are very important on long journeys.

This is part one of a two part video on efficiency. My second video will cover tyre pressure, range, HVAC, driveline and electric motor.
