After FACT’s sudden disbandment in 2016, Hiro (Vocals), Kazuki (Guitar & Vocals), and Takahiro (Guitar & Vocals) came together to create a new sound that fuses hardcore punk with more melodic influences. They debuted with the EP "Extrance" in 2016, which set the stage for their evolving sound, showcasing their distinctive take on post-2000s punk.

Shadows quickly became recognized for their unique blend of hardcore and punk, performing at major festivals like PUNK SPRING and SUMMER SONIC. Their follow-up release, the EP "Progress", released in August 2016, further solidified their place in the global punk scene, offering tracks with a mix of intense energy and melodic elements that would inspire future generations of punk fans.
