The wrestler Jim Ross was obsessed with - Dr Death Steve Williams

It’s ring of the hawk season three and we’re doing a bit differently today. Because today I have combined a wrestlers run across two companies. So both Steve Williams in wwf in 1999 and wcw. The reason I did this is because the runs were both really too short for one episode and they were very similar. He was playing the same role. I wanted to find out why Jim Ross saw this guy as a min event talent that could go against stone cold. The answer really was by 1999 he couldn’t….
That’s not to discredit any of his early wcw/nwa or Japan stuff. I just grade what I had in front of me. Jim Ross signed him in 1998 not 1992 so all that matters is how he performed in the attitude era.
