NMDC Limited (National Mineral Development Corporation) is a Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. It is a multi-locational, multi-product, and consistently profit-making Mining & Mineral Exploration Organization with a large turnover. NMDC has planned to recruit Executive Trainee (Tech.) based on requirement during the year 2024 and beyond.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a valid GATE 2024 scorecard in one of the following engineering disciplines:
Electrical Engineering (EE)
Mechanical Engineering (ME)
Mining Engineering (MN)
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
Candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their Bachelor's degree (55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
Application Process

The application process for NMDC recruitment through GATE 2024 will be available in online mode. Candidates will have to use their GATE 2024 registration number to fill a form for NMDC recruitment 2024. While filling out the application form, candidates will have to submit their personal, educational, and academic details. Information about GATE such as registration number and others will also have to be provided. An amount of Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred only) has to be paid by all candidates as an application fee, which is non-refundable.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE scores and called for an interview/test. The final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the interview/test.

GATE 2024 exam: February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024
NMDC recruitment notification: Expected in March 2024
Last date to apply: Expected in April 2024
Interview/test: Expected in May/June 2024
Salary and Benefits

Executive Trainees at NMDC are offered a competitive salary package, including Dearness Allowances (DA) in accordance with the company's policies. Following the successful completion of their one-year training program, Executive Trainees are designated as Assistant Managers, with a pay scale of Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 per month (approximately). Their initial basic pay is fixed at Rs. 60,000 per month.
