Train Simulator 2015 Tutorial - How to drive the Class 395 Javelin

Описание к видео Train Simulator 2015 Tutorial - How to drive the Class 395 Javelin

This little tutorial came about because I saw a number of people on streams and YouTube videos struggling with the train trying to make it move or trying to keep it moving.

This tutorial covers three topics - getting it moving at the start, how to deal with the alarms that stop the train, and how to do the power change over at Ebbsfleet.

There was some discussion on the chat about whether it was necessary to lower the pantograph at Ebbsfleet before doing the DC swap - personally I prefer to lower the pantograph first manually, but I believe it works fine and will automatically lower it if you just go straight to swapping to DC.

The key point though is - check those two lights in the top left, the LINE light must be ON and the MCB/VCB light must be OFF. If it's just the MCB/VCB then press the Pan up/Shoes down TWICE, if both are on then press it ONCE. Essentially the first time will raise the pantograph or drop the shoes and get the power, the second time will then reset the Circuit Breaker (the CB bit in MCB and VCB).

If you get an emergency application, simply bounce the throttle/brake handle off the minimum setting and it will reset it back to "Direct" and then the alarm (a two tone alarm) will stop sounding. You can do this even without stopping the train. If the DSD (single high pitch alarm) is going off, press Q to reset that first.
