Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights. Coronation Street actor Joe Duttine, 50, said he and his fiancée Sally Carman, 39, who plays Abi Franklin in the soap, wouldn’t be able to take romantic scenes together seriously, due to being a real-life couple. Addressing a potential romance scene between the pair, he said: “That’s the last thing me and Sally want! It would be a disaster.
